The opportunity

Since we launched ten years ago, the Apadmi team has built a reputation and client base that we think means we can rightly call ourselves the best in the UK.

We work with some of the biggest brands; from app developments to huge digital transformations, we help our clients make things better with mobile technology – and right now, we need a new Product Owner to help with our wealth of agile projects. 

You’ll be a highly-organised, proactive problem solver, who’ll be able to liaise between Product Managers, Client POs and scrum teams, to clearly define Sprint Backlogs and perform sprint planning.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, your key responsibilities as our new Product Owner will include:

  • Defining, writing, reviewing and providing sign off for product user stories in Jira
  • Working with scrum teams to create, refine, prioritise and maintain product backlogs, developing them if required for following sprints
  • Running discovery sessions to refine the backlog
  • Working closely with the multi-functional scrum team, attending scrum ceremonies
  • Working with alongside other PO’s to deliver a full product suite
  • Working with the resourcing team to ensure scrum team members are allocated and planned in

Ideally, you’ll have an Agile Scrum Product Owner Certification, and previous Product Owner experience working on large-scale projects.

We’ll expect you to work collaboratively and in a supportive way within the business, but we’ll also expect you to be an ambitious, passionate individual who participates in regular training to ensure the strongest skill set.

You’ll be expected to help us drive the adoption of agile process within Apadmi alongside Scrum Masters, so you need to be a positive, energetic person who has a passion for knowledge sharing and stakeholder support.
